If you are housebound, or too ill to get to the surgery, you may request a home visit. Please telephone 0121 357 3309 before 10:30 if possible. The doctor may call you back to decide whether or not a visit is necessary. It may be that the doctor can advise you over the telephone.
Requests for emergency visits can be made to surgery at any time. Please give as much information as possible to the receptionist to help the doctor to assess the urgency of your request. Every effort should be made to come into the surgery whenever possible as you will be seen sooner and there are better facilities for diagnosis and treatment. For non-urgent visits please give as much notice as possible.
You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
