Extended Hours

Evening & Weekend Appointments

Our practice is working in partnership to provide additional GP appointments between 18:30 – 20:00 weekdays and 09:00 – 12:00 at weekends.

If you need access to an evening appointment or weekend routine non-urgent appointment, please contact reception on 01213573309 during the normal practice hours.

Your appointment may be at another practice and not at your registered Practice.

When We Are Closed

If you require URGENT medical attention when the surgery is closed please telephone 111 and follow the instructions.   In case of an accident/emergency that may require sutures, dressings or X-rays, please note the nearest Casualty Department is Sandwell Hospital, All Saints Way, West Bromwich (0121 553 1831).

For minor ailments – such as cystitis, hay fever, fever/temperature most local pharmacies provide advice and medication (pick up a leaflet in the practice).

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

NHS 111 Online

111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for people who want to access 111 digitally.

Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:

  • Treat yourself at home
  • Go to a Primary Care Centre

If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.
